Account Manager

W. A. Fisher Co., a northern Minnesota advertising/website company with clients statewide, seeks an experienced and versatile person to manage existing clients and expand our account base. Responsibilities include account services and management, media management and coordination, social marketing and sales. Writing/editing skills and digital marketing are a plus. We are open to hybrid remote/on-site employment options. Compensation is commensurate with experience.

W.A. Fisher serves many clients in the tourism industry across the state, as well as clients in a variety of industries.

Required Skills:

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in business, marketing, communications or related field
  • 5+ years marketing experience; agency experience a plus

Knowledge of the following software is an added benefit:

  • Microsoft suite: Word, Excel, PowerPoint

  • Google Ads
  • Google Analytics
  • Digital meeting platforms such as Zoom or Google Hangouts
  • Adobe Creative Suite
  • Email marketing platforms


Customer Service:

    • Conduct client communications such as phone calls, meetings and e-mails to facilitate projects
    • Gather content (text, photos, art) from clients to complete projects
    • Coordinate with WAF staff to complete work as per client goals and objectives within agreed budgets and deadlines
    • Travel to meetings as required
    • Budget management
    • Invoicing
    • Report regularly to management regarding project status, completions and billings


    • Respond to inquiries by phone, e-mail and walk-in appointments
    • Travel for sales meetings as required
    • Prepare written estimates and proposals
    • Prepare written sitemaps to document scope and architecture of web projects
    • Obtain written or signed approvals on estimates
    • Report regularly to management regarding sales – leads, estimates and approved estimates

Marketing and Advertising:

    • Develop marketing plans
    • Media planning, placement and coordination
    • Manage Google Ads and/or other SEM platforms
    • Manage social media advertising: Facebook, Instagram, YouTube
