W.A. Fisher is seeking a highly motivated individual to join our web team!
The number one responsibility of the Web Team Assistant is to assist the web team (developer and account executives) on whatever projects need to be accomplished. This can vary from data entry on new sites, making changes to existing web sites, quoting new projects, assisting clients over the phone and in person, scheduling social media posts. This position has many opportunities and tracks for growth, depending on the individual’s unique skill set.
The ideal candidate will be local to our historic Chestnut Street office in Virginia, Minnesota but remote opportunities are also available.
Responsibilities
Customer Service:
- Conduct client communications such as phone calls, meetings and e-mails to facilitate projects and website updates
- Gather content (text, photos, art) from clients
- Travel to meetings as required
- Report regularly to management regarding project status, completion and billings
- Train clients on WordPress CMS
Management of Hosting & Domains and Renewals:
- Keep accurate records of client hosting accounts
- Secure annual renewal agreements of hosting, domains and other web services
- Facilitate invoicing
Management of Web Maintenance Tickets:
- Open web maintenance tickets as required
- Compile work summaries for web maintenance
- Invoice web maintenance tickets in a timely fashion
Web Maintenance:
- Maintain existing websites, including client requests and WordPress updates on a regular basis
- Create email campaigns and manage email lists
- Assist with data/content entry on new and existing sites
