W.A. Fisher is just one small portion of the business and industry that would not exist if it weren’t for Minnesota’s iron mining industry.
With that in mind, W.A. Fisher is honored to have teamed up with the Iron Mining Association of Minnesota (IMA), as the group showcases the impact of Minnesota’s mining industry on people’s everyday lives.
Through focused market research and strategic planning, W.A. Fisher presented a full-scale marketing and media plan to the IMA in late 2013, for implementation in 2014.
The focus of the IMA’s 2014 campaign, “imagine LiFe without iron,” will readily remind Minnesotans how often they use products derived from iron mining on a daily basis. The statewide, positive messaging campaign, which also fosters support for the iron mining industry, will be focused primarily in the Twin Cities metro region with additional promotion regionally (within northeastern Minnesota), on a smaller scale.
W.A. Fisher and the IMA staff kicked off the campaign in early April with the launch of the 2014 campaign’s website, MinnesotaIron.org, in addition to a very large presence in the Twin Cities metro region via the “Blue Line” light trail train that runs between Target Field and the Mall of America!
